What's Happening

Hey everyone, we have been so busy with so many things but the biggest news here at OUAS is our Quickutz Club. It is one of the most popular monthly events here at the store. And why not? We have so much fun. Each month we do a project & there are great promotions for the members. This month was super special. We did a drawing for a Silhouette to one lucky member this month. The winner was Nonda Sloan. Congratulations Nonda. She was so excited she came over on her lunch to pick it up.

Update!

Hey everyone! It's Bekah. I noticed we haven't had an update on the store blog in a while. Mom and Grandma (Karen and Dolores) sure have ordered a lot of cool stuff from CHA!!!! Be sure to make it out to Once Upon A Scrapbok to check out all of the new products! We have new things arriving daily, as well as more stuff added to the clearance section! Have a blessed day! Also, we do have some changes beginnig September 1st, 2008. Our newsletter will only include the calendar and the class descriptions. Also, our prices for crops will be raised $2 per person due to rising costs. Thanks!

Sizzix

Well we are hoping that you all got the newsletter by now. Please note that this Wednesday, April 2nd is Sizzix day & not $1 card day. We will be doing a make & take and would love to have you stop by for a demo & M&T, but it is not $1 card day. We had a mixup in the schedule. I think it was that there are 5 Wednesdays in the month.

Great news for Sizzix lovers

I know we haven't been updating the blog as much as I would like, but I will try to be more faithful.

If you haven't stopped in this week, you should do so by Saturday. We are celebrating our 3 year anniversary & we have been doing loads of cool things.

We have gotten in a huge shipment of Sizzix/Ellison. All of the Sizzix products are currently 40% off and that includes all the brand new products we just got in. So if you have a Sizzix or Ellison machine or have been contemplating getting one, now would be the time as the machines are also on sale, including the Sidekick.
Starting next month, we will run Sizzix at 25% off the everyday price as our new advertized price. So even if you can't come in by Saturday, you can be assured that you will still get a great rate at 25% off list everyday.

Just a few notes.
The Recipe classes on the 15th have been cancelled, due to my mom being laid up with her back. We plan on being able to start it back up in March.

We have been telling you that we are in the process of changing our VIC program. We had decided to do away with the VIC program entirely & go to a punch card system. However, we have decided to let those who are already members & have been for quite some time, to be grandfathered into the program. We will be taking no new members, but those that are currently members will be allowed to renew their membership. Everyone else will be eligible for the punch card. You CANNOT use both.

We have gotten in more stuff this week. All the new Revolution dies are in along with the new magnetic wand, universal scraper & universal hook. The other new products should be here shortly, except for the the 12" platforms, those aren't shipping out for a few weeks yet.
We also recieved a shipment from Die Cuts with a View with their new glitter stacks including pet, baby & solid glitter sheets. These are a great deal at $19.99.

Back from CHA

Well everyone, we made it back from CHA and what a whirl wind trip that was. We did have some problems though. Right after we got there, my mom took a fall & was in a great deal of pain the entire trip. She is still in pain & probably will be for a while, so say a prayer for her.
As for all the cool new stuff, we saw so much and ordered a ton. We can't wait til it all starts coming in. Our 1st shipment from CHA purchases arrived on Thursday. We got in a shipment from Scrappin Sports with new papers, stickers & loads of rub ons. We are still placing orders and getting ready to make some big changes at the store so that we can make room for all the new stuff.
We didn't get to update the blog everyday, as I didn't take a laptop with me, so I had to rely on someone else to post. But we ordered so many great new products. Lots of great new lines from Heidi Grace, Cloud 9, Basic Grey, Piggy Tales, Sandylion, Melissa Francis, Stemma, Technique Tuesday, Tim Holtz, Cropper Hopper, All My Memories, Flair Designs, Quickutz, Die Cuts with a View, Prima, Stampin Station - including new custom items - Tapestry, Creative Imaginations, Colorbok, Lil Davis Designs, and Paper House to name a few, plus all the things posted already. I will update you regularly on the blog as things start arriving.
